5.0 out of 5 stars All the feature I need, January 9, 2007

This parka is so versatile. The lining comes out easy, and can be worn separately as a lighter jacket. There are plenty of snaps and zippers to ventilate the parka as the weather changes throughout the day. Plus there are numerous pockets to store all of your outdoor accessories. Last point is on construction, this coat is made of rugged materials that appear to be well sewn together.

4.0 out of 5 stars Provisional Best Parka, December 21, 2006
This review is from: Columbia Men's 3 in 1 Provisional Best Parka (Apparel)
This is the third Columbia Coat I have owned. Compared to the others (Bugaboo and Titanium) this felt a little cheaper. What I found was that it was every bit as warm, and I have been very happy with it. The only problem I have had is that one of the fabric pieces that secure the fleece inside to the shell tore a bit. I took some thread and sewed it back, and since then there have been no problems. Even the shell alone has been adequate for wear in 20 - 30 degree weather. This is a good coat for the value ( I got it on sale for $50.00! )

This Coat is great. I once had a columbia Coat in High School and loved it. I decided to go for this one because The North Face were too expensive. This coat is great for 3 uses. Use the shell or the lining seprately or both together. Good tough quality.
