5.0 out of 5 stars Super pokey
All in all it is a pretty nice knife. For $30, it was definitely a good buy. The blade shape and finish are great, and the 9Cr18 steel is very sharp. Not sure why, but I feel like the knife is smaller in person than I thought it would be. The handle is quite small for my big hands, but the finger notch near the choil provides me with great grip and control. The scales...

3.0 out of 5 stars Great design bad grips
This knife is based on a Pat and Wes Crawford and Bob Kasper design. I love the huge wharncliffe blade and pommel end. The grips leave some thing to be desired. They are made from G 10 but I think Micarta would've worked better here. Plus they need a groove to make the jimping work. I like the knife( although mine came with a small factory flaw in the blade. A pit about...

All in all it is a pretty nice knife. For $30, it was definitely a good buy. The blade shape and finish are great, and the 9Cr18 steel is very sharp. Not sure why, but I feel like the knife is smaller in person than I thought it would be. The wharncliffe style on the knife is fantastic! Easily my favorite blade shape, it is VERY pokey.

Sheath is decent, especially for a low cost knife. It has multiple carry options and holds the knife tightly.

This one will be going with my buddy to Afghanistan so I expect a review from him as well!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good defense backup, poor sheath, January 12, 2012

This knife is well designed for penetration. It is light and fast. The handle offers adequate grip and reasonably accommodates a reverse grip. The trouble is finding a conceal-carry position that is quickly accessible, that doesn't dictate a handle down position. The sheath is low quality plastic, poorly fitted, and poorly designed. Despite the near sub-hilt design of the handle - the sheath prevents the use of the index finger groove upon draw. The sheath fits loosely enough for easy draw, but it is so loose that inverted carry is not an option. This knife is worth the purchase price of $30 or less.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great knife., January 7, 2012
This review is from: Columbia River Knife and Tool's 2010 C/K Dragon Razor Edge with Fixed Blade (Tools & Home Improvement)
Great knife

As usual , I love this CRKT knife. It fits my hand well, has great balance and the edge holds well. CRKT always seems to make great products at reasonable prices. It just feels great in my hand as a camp knife or a defense knife. The sheath could have been a little tighter fitting but that may not be a manufacturing issue.

A pit about an inch from the tip, but I kept it). I bought this knife just to have in my collection as its only purpose is self defense and its too big for E.D.C..The sheath is plain awful. The knife rattles like crazy and it's huge. There is no comfortable way to carry it on your belt. I wouldn't choose this knife to defend my life, but I guess it would do in a pinch. Three stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little blade, December 31, 2011
This review is from: Columbia River Knife and Tool's 2010 C/K Dragon Razor Edge with Fixed Blade (Tools & Home Improvement)
I really like the quality of CRKT's products. This is a great knife! Comes very sharp, the sheath holds it very securely. I have somewhat large hands and it is a little on the small side for a full grip but great for a thrusting grip. I try not to purchase knives I haven't held but I am glad I did with this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice knife, November 25, 2011

I have about a dozen CRKT knives. I have found each to be very good. My girlfriend wanted a "smallish" knife she could carry every day and this knife seems to work very good. She uses it on a daily basis for a utility knife, but carries it for a self defense weapon if needed. It is mean looking little bugger and VERY pointed. I think it would penetrate a target with ease. She likes it and it turns out that it is easy to carry with a lanyard around her neck under her shirt.
