M16-14D Desert Big Dog made by Columbia River Knife and Tool is a 3.875-Inch combo edge knife. This knife which has an AUS 8 stainless steel blade was designed for military use in desert settings. It features easy one hand opening, aluminum frame, Desert Tan aluminum handles, Desert Tan AUS8 stainless steel blade and AutoLawks system.

I have to say this is the best knife I have ever owned, and I have owned several. The tanto blade is highly functional, and the blade is beefed up right where it counts. I also find the serrated edge is not over-done, like in other knives I've owned. You still have ample cutting edge for any appliction and the serration doesn't interfere, but is there if you need it. The opening action is the smoothest I've used, and I like how the thumb studs (there's one on each side of the blade) rest against the handle acting as a reinforcement for the blade, thus added more strength to the knife. When opened, this knife is as sturdy as a fixed blade. I find it virtually unnoticeable in my pocket, which is amazing for it's size. The pocket clip has four mounting options, and the knife comes with an extra pocket clip and the torque wrench to remove it. For the price you can't beat this pocket knife. This knife is a worker!

Probably One Of The Best Knives I've Ever Seen Let Alone Owned I've Used It For Pretty Much Everything You Could Think Of, From Slicing Threw Some Pretty Thick Plastic To Shaving Slithers Off Cement Board And Has Never Been To Big Or Small For What I Needed It For, And The Looks I Get When Its Hanging From My Pockets Crack Me Up
I got this knife for a gift. I wish I would have found it alot sooner. This knife is amazing. Weight, size, sharp and easy to open. Durable for cutting all the way up to puncturing. The auto lawks makes for a vitual fixed blade. The handle size is perfect for my hand size. I onw 2 CRKT Kit Carson Designs and plan to own more. I recommend any of the m16 or m21 knives for any purpose.

great knife
