Product Description

Product Description

COLUMBIA RIVER KNIFE and TOOL KNIFE, HITCHCOCK HOLE IN ONE

From the Manufacturer

Columbia River Knife and Tool's 5150 has a high flat grind with a gently curved Razor-Sharp edge. The model 5160 single-hole blade is plain for easy cleaning, while the fancy model 5150 receives five lightening holes in the blade spine. The Hole In One's locking mechanism locks both open and closed. Most important, when the knife is gripped tightly during use, the lock also grips tighter for increased safety.

The style of this knife is one of a kind and i had very high hopes for it. Using the clip i hung it on my belt loop and used it for several days. Then something bad happened
While sitting on a couch the knife opened on its own and the blade was sticking out at a 90 angle from the handle. Someone pointed it out, and when i reached for it it sliced open my hand. Clearly this is a design flaw and because of it i cant recommend this knife.

Yes as the name implies. The hole in one [5106] is a fantastic piece of form follows function. The engineering that went into the Hitchcock designed knife blows my mind. A knife that feels so natural in my hand, and to function the piece is habit forming. Sharp, sturdy, and one of the only knives that is impossible to drop when really needed.
Thanks Mr. Hitchcock and CRKT.

By far the sharpest knife I've purchased, I do wish it was easier to open with one hand, otherwise great!!

This is a great little knife to use on a backpack for hiking, on belt loop for work, or just to tinker around with! Opening/closing mechanism is very unique and takes a little practice to become familiar with, but very quickly becomes natural to use. Blade holds an edge even after daily use. Over all, it's a great knife for many different occasions, but there is no conventional clip, so clipping it to a belt loop is one of the only carry options aside from in pocket, but I personally do not suggest that.
