I have a LOT of knives --- some, I'm almost ashamed to say, that I like so much I don't use them.

This will get used.

Of all the people I've known who ask, "Why do you need to carry a knife?" I'd bet that 90% of them have also asked, at one time or another: "Hey, you have your knife with you?"

And everyone I've given a knife to has wondered why they didn't have one to begin with.

What this has to do with THIS knife is pretty simple: it's simple. It's a no-excuses small sharp blade in just about the most minimal package possible. It's a born pocket-monster, tiny and sharp and tough enough to do a lot of things you need sharp stuff for.

Is it my absolute favorite knife? C'mon, now. It's getting harder and harder to carry useful things anywhere --- but you could practically carry this in your ear. My ring finger covers it completely, with room to spare. I only wish it were easier to remove the clip --- and it would ... vanish!

For such a simple thing, it has great "fidget-factor," too --- something others have noted. It has an oddly-satisfying "snick" to it. In knife-ese it's called "walking and talking."

I hate to say this about anything I find useful, but here goes: in a pinch, it's almost disposable. If you had to abuse it in a demanding situation (like, heaven forbid, prying something) it's minimalist existence would only be missed for as long as it took to get another one. Not too many of my knives I'd say that about.

It might be nice, given the size and "tool-in-a-pinch" design, if they'd offer this with a couple of serrations.

So, in the world of Kershaws, Onions, Bucks, Gerbers, Al Mars, and a number of Columbias, this thing stands out like the "noisy cricket" in "Men in Black."

Seriously, have you ever forgotten your favorite pocket knife and thought that you should have a small knife on your keychain? This is that knife. I looped a piece of parachute cord through it and it resides on my keys. I have used this little, albeit well made knife to open packages, envelopes, and even to cut a zip tie off of my car. It is simple, well made, and plenty sharp. I took the little thumb stud off of it, because the knife is so small that it is useless to have one. I also removed the pocket clip. It is handy, and despite banging off of my keys or thrashing around in my bag for months, it looks brand new. It's pretty easy to put an edge on as well. Great value.

I own a lot of knives. This one is my favorite. It is very slim and compact. You won't even know it's in your pocket. I ordered two to replace the one I thought I lost. I found the one I lost and discovered I also had this knife in black. I will keep the new ones as they make great gifts.
This is not for heavy use or prying. It has a clip (some people call it a money clip knife) that I don't use. It also has a hole to attach to keyring or lanyard. Good for opening envelopes and boxes.
The black version of this knife unless they improved it, the color will scratch and come off over time.
Silver is your best choice as it will stay looking good. If you like a very small knife this is your knife. Men and women would love this knife.
Oh, did I forget to mention this is one of my favorite knives?
The K.I.S.S. version is very slim and compact also. It is a little larger but not bulky. Different style blade also.
Whichever you choose, I would get the silver over the black.
The P.E.C.K. Delilah in silver is my favorite.

First of all, I love the products that are put out by Columbia River Knife & Tool!

I returned this knife back to Amazon because the locking mechanism didn't function as securely as I had hoped and I just didn't feel like getting injured so I ordered the CRKT M16-12z instead.

The Delilha P.E.C.K. in the Dark is a cool knife but it just wasn't my cup-of-tea.

Only thing wrong with this is that it comes open so easily and is so sharp that I'm afraid to have it in my pocket as is. It doesn't have anything to do with the screw. I tightened it and it won't make it better. If it rubbed against something the right way it can open and stab you or maybe your girlfriend (or boyfriend). So I put a safety band using a piece of unheated heat shrink tubing around the blade that I can slide up and down if I need to access the blade, but that can eventually break so I'm still wary of it. Also added a small o ring. There is just not enough friction to inspire much confidence. Otherwise it is an awesome keychain tool.
