Whimsical, Versatile,

This review is from: Columbia River Knife and Tool 5910G Turtle 1-Inch Razor Blade Utility Knife, Golden Brown (Tools & Home Improvement)
I received this knife a year ago for Christmas. The minute I saw it, I wanted it for my collection! It is as beautiful in person as in the pictures.
Pros: It can be worn as a pendant, which as a woman I really like It has a clip, also a plus since many of my garments don't have pockets (see cons) One hand action...always good The small size isn't threatening. This is obviously a utility knife. It's a great conversation piece and comes gift boxed. Cons: This only has four stars because I got so frustrated with the clip. It DOES NOT stay securely screwed to the knife. I ended up taking it off and just using the optional 2nd shell. I really wish this worked as advertised!!! My knife didn't come sharp enough. That's not a huge deal, but it would have been nice. The shell will get scratched if you use it as a key ring. For the price I wish they had included an inexpensive key ring and neck chain so it could be used out of the package in any way the user desired. My turtle usually hangs out in my wallet, and I use it all the time for little tasks. I like carrying a blade, but often get odd looks when I pull out even a small pen knife. I appreciate makers who take their products "outside the box".

Worthless as a money clip,

Do not buy this knife if you plan on using it as a money clip. For some stupid reason, the screw that attaches the money clip sticks out and RIPS the bills as you pull them out. Another reason why this is worthless as a money clip is that it isnt large enough to comfortably cover the money. Useful money clips reach almost the bottom of the bill, making removing and attaching that much easier. The Ashworth turtle does not reach halfway.
In short, buy the Ashworth as a cute 1" snub knife. Do not buy this as a money clip!

My Wife Seems to Like It,

My wife loves turtles and the color pink. I love practical things.
This was a no brainer as a little christmas gift for her to carry in her purse. It is fairly sharp out of the box and is well built. Now she doesn't have to ask to borrow my knife all the time.

So GREAT!,

This little pocket knife is absolutely perfect for me! My husband bought it for me as a gift and I LOVE it! I use it all the time and its so cute and little that it doesn't seem bulky and annoying in my purse. It is very sharp and serves its purpose really well. I definitely recommend this for anyone that wants something sharp to keep with them that isn't a bulky pocket knife...

This came today and it is quite impressive looking and comes in a cardboard box that actually makes a nice display. The money clip is separate with an extra screw if you want to make a money clip out of it. Otherwise, both sides have the pink oval on them. The blade can be hid or extracted quite easily for safety's sake. There is also a hook on the opposite end of the blade where you can wear it as a charm around your neck. My wife's eyes went wide when she opened it and she told me she really loved it. So 5 stars :)

In the pics the blade looks like it may be long enough to get some basic cutting tasks done but in real life it just doesn't work. Aside from cutting tape on cardboard boxes I get from Amazon (which is already easy enough) this serves no purpose. Yes its always knife to have a backup blade as jewelry like a pendant or money clip but only if its long enough to get something done. Otherwise its expensive for just looking nice. I'd rather carry one of the small Spyderco blades on my keychain. Those are long enough to be useful but small enough to be forgotten when walking around. This is too bulky for its limited function.
Very well built and looks cool, shame they couldn't figure out a way to make it a bit longer so I could actually put it to use once in a while.
