4.0 out of 5 stars What a surprise, a decent enough EDC knife!
I was pleasantly surprised by the Thunderbolt 2. I saw a couple reviews on YouTube that made me want it so I went ahead and purchased a few days ago. Wanted a medium to big EDC, I would rate this medium just under big. I had to ding it just one star because of the serrated edges on the front of the tanto blade. I thought I would like those and it looks cool but after...

2.0 out of 5 stars blade is no good
The blade will not keep an edge. The pivot is good the handle is great, but constantly sharpening the blade gets old. I work on a farm and use the blade daily and have to sharpen it daily as well. The blade brand new was not sharp.

I thought I would like those and it looks cool but after seeing it in person I would have rather owned the non-serrated edge of this knife.

It was sharp out of the box, solidly built with no sway left or right. The knife is centered in the handle, especially when closed. It doesn't feel heavy at all but I don't have a scale to weigh it. It has nice feel in your hand and it's easy to open and close. I like the fact it's easy to close the liner lock on this the most. I also like where the safety locking toggle is for the liner lock.

Over all I really like this knife and plan to purchase other CRKT knives in the future. I don't see a lot of reviews on YouTube for this brand so I'm not sure why because this knife is pretty solid. This would have been perfect if they would eliminate the serrations from the front of the blade for a Thunderbolt 3.
