The screw driver will not retract.

Cross drivers are also more awkward to turn (but you can apply more force).

It's a great product but it's made in China.

This is a heavy and sturdy tool, all tools lock open using liner locks. The closed dimensions are 4" long, 1" wide and .75" thick. It has a very small, 2" fine edged (non-serrated), modified sheep's foot style blade with a slight belly to the edge. The saw has 2.25" of cutting edge on a 2.75" total blade length. The length of the knife and saw blades are a bit of a disappointment considering the size and weight of the tool. Both the straight and phillips screwdrivers spring open and lock solidly in a "T-driver" handle configuration. The driver shafts are 1.5" long and will get to shallowly recessed screws. A magnetic bit holder slips over the phillips screwdriver and allows for the use of the 9 included hex driver bits. 3 phillips bits, 3 straight and 3 hex bits plus the magnetic holder are included in a rubber holder than fits in the rear of the included nylon case which uses velcro closures. Interestingly, the tool does not come with the star bits needed for it's own disassembly.

The wire stripper uses 4 holes labeled for 16, 14, 12, and 10 AWG wire. To strip a wire, you open the knife blade, insert the wire in the proper hole, and close the knife blade partially so that it presses on the insulation. Pressing down lightly on the blade you rotate the wire to cut around the insulation. It works well and since the wire can pass completely through the tool you can strip to any length.

The bolster is cut for use as a wrench, but the usable depth is only 1/8" so this part of the tool is limited to bolt heads or nuts where the screw protrudes only slightly.

The CRKT 9200 is quite weighty, it's thick steel construction contributes both to a strong design and considerable heft.

I was excited about this multitool when I read the reviews. "Finally, a smaller multitool I can carry clipped inside my pocket like my knives." As that was my chief expectation, this becomes my chief disappointment. It is not much smaller, if it is any at all, than my Gerber. It is not thinner, really, than it either. It is not a daily carrier for me. (And I have a couple of large knives I carry.) It's clever, no doubt. Spring loaded screw drivers pop out at the touch of a button. As a gadget it is engineered well and made out of quality materials, but the range of tools--a nice little saw I'll never use--doesn't serve me in my day to day. Clearly built and designed by people who know their stuff, just not the tool for me.

All tools that open can be opened with one hand. There are very few multi-tools where the screwdrivers can be easily opened with only one hand (this is maybe the only one I have seen). This is really handy when you are holding something in your other hand. You press a button, and the spring-loaded screwdrivers pop out. The knife and the saw have little nubs that you push up with your thumb while holding the tool with the rest of that hand. All the one-handed opening things seems to work great--provided you open them with the hand they are designed for.

Because of the geometry of where the opening nub is, the knife blade is optimized for right-handed opening. I don't think I can even do it with my left hand alone. The saw blade, on the other hand, is for left-handed opening. The screw drivers each open with just a button, and you can easily do that with either hand (since both the buttons and the screwdrivers are in the middle of the tool).

You can close the knife and the saw with one hand, once you get used to the liner locks. I have been unable to close the screwdrivers with one hand. Not only is the geometry more awkward, but the springs are quite stiff.

The knife blade is considerably shorter than it could be given the length of the tool. I consider this an advantage, because I virtually never need the long knife blades that are in other tools; but opinions may vary. The saw blade is the full length.

The knife blade came really sharp. (Often I have to sharpen blades in other tools.) It has a good sharp point and a completely straight edge.

I love this tool, the adapters are great, the features, amazing, the clip fantastic.

My only complaint is that it is a little bulkier than I wanted, and carrying around the bits is kind of annoying, I rarely have them on me. But other than that, it is a great everyday tool!

I bought this multi-tool because I liked the idea of multi-fit box wrenches in place of pliers and the T-driver style screwdrivers. Unfortunately, the Phillips head screwdriver would no longer fold back completely into the handle after the first day and the tip broke off a few days later.

The quality of the product is terrible. As I opened the package, the screwdriver was broken, it keeps popping out.

Bought this for my husband for Xmas and like many other reviewers, he can't get the phillips head screwdriver to lie flat. It's going back.
