I bought these boots more less for a wear around boot at home in the winter as well as my everyday hiking boots. I gotta say we finally got some snow yesterday and these performed great, my feet were dry, and warm. Other fantastic features are how light these boots were, just like wearing my loafers, the fit is great they are true to size! And with a good price tag on them these boots are hard to beat for the money.

I ordered this boot, the black cyber ones. I loved them, they looked good, were very comfortable, had great a construction and were very light. Theses don't seem to have a full, stiff shank needed for hiking with heavy loads, so I would only use these for light loads. The only problem with these are that the right boot would not fit due to the narrow design of these boots. I normally could fit into my size, but be aware, these boots are narrow and if you have wide feet, you would want to order a size up.

Received these boots in April of 2010 and they have really been a great investment. I have used them in all types of terrain and in all types of weather and they have kept my feet warm and dry. These boots do require a break in period and can make your ankles sore at first, but it is well worth the time spent. I am military and the diversity that these boots offer is nice enough to wear in uniform as well as with jeans. Recently had 4 inches of snow and I played outside with my kids for hours and my feet were not cold or wet. These boots also dry out very fast. I highly recommend these boots if you are looking for a diverse boot with the ability to last many years. The sizes run about the same as every other shoe. I wear a 10.5 in running shoes so I bought a 10.5 in boots and they worked out great.

I bought these in March 2011 and here almost 9 months later they've survived the worst weather and working conditions Hawaii has too offer pretty much and are still in good shape. I've had to replace one clasp that I broke off climbing a rock wall with a barrel full of green debris but other than that they're good shape except for the treads which have worn down from wear and tear. I can't hold the manufacturer accountable for that. Except for the kinda high price, these are excellent mid-light hiking boots with good breathing, light weight, close to waterproof, and stylish for cruising.

We are all always hesitant to buy shoes online because of how they will fit, fortunately these fit very well and are true to size. Wether you wear thin or thick socks the fit will still be the same warm and comfortable fit. The price is good also so that is a plus!

great sole. tried to climb a retalively steep boulder and the sole held fast...

not much slip when walking over water.

extremely light.

walked in water just abouve the third loop and did not get wet inside.

on the whole a very comfortable shoe.


but i felt a little tight due to the fact that i have broad feet and i did not see this shoe being offered to users with broad feet.

Horrible fit.

Super narrow mold - made for people with the rare super skinny feet.

Manufacturer should put a warning label on this product advising that it only fits super narrow feet.

Never again will I buy a Columbia boot.

Posen very good design and quality of materials is very good, but they are too rigid. The night before a torrential rain boots will step a little water.
