My husband absolutely loves these boots. As soon as he put them up he started checking the forecast for snow. LOL! They are very warm without being bulky or heavy. We are in Chicago and in the midst of our 1st big snow and he has no complaints even with only one pair of socks. The only reason I gave these boots four stars is because they run small. Luckily my husband's size was sold out so we ordered one size up.

Really liked these boots at first. Comfortable, light, and kept my feet nice and warm. We take our 5 mile hike with the dogs no matter what the weather is doing. Great in the single digits temps we had in early December with below zero wind chills but as winter has progressed and the snow got deeper they have started to leak. Bummer. I will still use them for going out and about in the winter; shopping, shoveling, etc. But I will be looking for another boot for wading through deep snow for extended periods of time.

This is a good durable boot. With the 600 gram thinsulate, I have no trouble with my feet getting cold. They are not a bulky boot, and have real good traction. I would recommend breaking the boots in before any major hike, as they do feel a little stiff like a ski boot when you first start out.

It doesn't get much more rainy than on the north oregon coast. I work outside 5 days a week and often am standing in deep mud puddles, working in the wind and rain, and have found these to be a great boot for my size 15 feet. I weigh 250 pounds, so these shoes take some abuse. It took about 20 hours to properly break these shoes in. The rain runs off my rain gear and right onto my feet, which used to be a problem. So far they are completely waterproof, and go great with the "Oddball Outdoor" performance sock ($12/pair at oddball.com) I plan on using them for backpacking and hiking as well. Columbia has been good to me thus far.

We got a great deal on Amazon for this extremely warm comfortable and durable boot. No more cold or wet toes working outside in the Wisconsin winters.

My husband is one of those that doesn't trudge along.. he basically jogs wherever he goes... so I knew I'd have to find a boot that was very light so it wouldn't slow him down. But at the same time, who wants cold feet? They'd have to still be warm enough to keep his feet warm during his favorite winter hobby - snowmobiling, and during the many long days he spends outside- usually 8-10 hours at a time in our Minnesota winters. He complained that I got him boots for Christmas, he already had two pairs tat he bought for himself previously... but I knew both pairs were the heavy clunky kind and weren't doing the job. After wearing these "new boots", he stopped complaining about the money I spent and just appreciates his new boots while the old ones sit downstairs unused. He loves them, and his feet stay warm all day long. FINALLY. I don't have the heart to say I told you so... but hey.. that'll teach the man to try to out-shop a woman! :)

This is the boot that I have been wanting. It is slim and not bulky. Boots that I have had in the past have always been the customary large pak boot that offers warmth but way too much room too much room and not enough support when moving fast in snow. I will be wearing it later this month and I feel confidant that it will perform as it was designed.

Shipped on time fits to size needs to be broken in to I am heading to Russia -30 degree weather will give more feedback.

IT'S A GOOD BOOTS FOR HOW LOOK A FEEL. BUT IF YOU STAY LONG TIME OUT SIDE(MORE 6 HOURS) YOU FEEL COOLD.

I just got this boot from Amazon and saved 30.00 from local store. I live in Alaska and the weather is very cold -10 For a boot this caliber it is very lite weight and very comfortable. I wore the boot all day yesterday and was shocked that my feet never got to hot while walking through the stores while we shopped for Christmas. I have back problems and found that this boot did not cause any discomfort in my back and legs and for the first time in a long time felt very stable when I walked. Living in Alaska my hole life I have had many winter boots and by far this boot beats them all hands down. If you spend time in cold weather like I do, feel good about spending the money on this wonderful boot.
