This is a new mens COLUMBIA COAT. The style is THE CYCLONE PARKA and the color name is CARBON. It is a MEDIUM BLUE COLOR with DARK GREY AND LIGHT accents. The coat shell is 100% nylon, AND IS WATERPROOF (3000MM). The lining has an INSULATION that retains body heat and keeps the body warm. It has 3 pockets on the front, one pocket on the sleeve, a draw string around the bottom, velcro closures on the sleeves, a hood that is lightly insulated and snaps off the collar or tucks into the collar ,adjustable toggles at the hood, and zips up the front. This would make a great SNOWBOARDING, SKI OR OUTDOOR WINTER COAT.

Most coats use a forward angled pocket design to allow you to easily slip your hands into the outer pockets. The photo with the model appears to suggest this is true for this coat. For some reason (most likely form over function) this coat actually has slightly rearward angled pockets, which makes putting your hands in a little more problematic. I may get used to it.

Also, this coat is not as heavy as I had envisioned for something called a "parka," particularly from the Columbia brand. If you live in a cold climate where you are often below 25 degrees F, this is probably not the model for you. Here in Southeastern Pennsylvania, it will be warm enough for our mild winters.

Love this jacket. I was looking for a nice warm Jacket that wasn't too bulky. This jacket is it. It doesn't have the zip out liner other jacket have, that I find bulky and heavy. I live in Wisconsin and might be use to the cold a bit, but this winter has been very cold. 10-15 below 0 some nights. Never was I cold with this jacket. I love the material on the inside the jacket where your face is, soft and never feels wet from breathing condensation. Well worth the money.

Very warm, water proof and doesn't look bad.

Part of the collar is made of soft, smooth and warm cloth, so when the zipper is pulled up to the top, the collar won't rub your chin. Nice design!
