I wore this shoe only a few weeks when one of the loops at the top of the shoe -- the last loop thorough which the lace goes -- ripped as I was tying the shoe. This simple tear rendered the shoe unwearable as it could not be laced up. Cost $6 and several days without the shoes. Turns out these little loops (there are two on each shoe) are barely held in by a few threads. The loops are not long enough for more threads, so I expect that each of the other three loops will fail and need resewing. The shoe repair guy repaired the broken loop by stitching it all the way through the shoe: not a very elegant solution, but one that I expect will work.
Otherwise, a comfortable shoe, very nice looking. Hard to recommend though, given the hassles this weak point will probably bring.

Using these shoes for biking riding and very happy with the feeling, I must admit they were purchase because of the price still not bad.

Water going through the finger tips. So I can not tell exactly watertight. I've been disappointed.
