I even got these things soaked with nasty waterpark water. They do not smell at all. The AG ion is incredible. They are extremely comfortable. I am buying another pair of these in case they don't make them when these finally go bad.

After 3 weeks walking through a lot of snow and slush, these boots keep my feet warm and dry without overheating while indoors. Comfortable support too.

Had only dress and athletic shoes in the closet, bought these for vacation to cold/wet climate of Northern Germany. Impressed on comfort here in States when I tried to wear them in. Walked 10 miles plus in Germany a day, beautiful fit, warm toes- excellent boot. Can't say anything about ruggedness yet, haven't hit any wilderness hiking--but there's 2 inches of ice on the ground last two days, and walks with the dog are dry, warm, and with great traction. For the price I'm sure you'll be satisfied.

These are great boots and I've worn many. Worn with a good pair of cotton socks, these boots make hiking a real pleasure. It fits well ,holds on your ankle and foot in the right places and yet keeps it mobile. Great grip on dry dusty trails as well as mud.

I like the silver anti-smell foot lining. It keeps the smell down.

These are certainly warm boots - been wearing them the past couple of days during our single digit temps and I've been comfortable. Not too warm as I can leave them on indoors, walk around a store or two, without becoming "overheated". I found the wide boot in my normal size (13) to be comfortable. I don't always need a wide, so I believe these tend to run a bit narrow. Moving up one size like others suggested for this boot would have been too large for me.

I purchased this hiker on sale at a steal of a price.It is a perfect fit,very comfortable, and very well made.It performs well for me in the mountains where I hike off trail.The waterproofing seems to perfom well, although I always spray some additional on that contains a stain inhibitor.I would definitely buy this boot again.

Ordered these shoes while working as a contractor in Iraq in September 09. Very comfortable shoes, no break in required. After about a month they started to squeak, both shoes, while walking on any surface. Dirt, pavement, linoleum, wood, carpet. Think something inside the soles is defective. Also the tongue is seemingly too short, laces would slip over the top of it and come loose. They look good and are comfortable but design/manufacture unsatisfactory.

Very comfortable shoe. Not to heavy on your feet. The only complaint I have is with the shoe laces. They started unraveling and falling apart right at the spot that the shoe string goes through the lace hooks on the top of the shoe. Other than that, awesome deal.

Great hiking shoes. I love the high ankle support and overall very comfortable. Can't beat the price from a trusted company. Used them to hike locally around NY but I will be using them to get me to the top of Yosemite's half dome. Good shoes.

These shoes are pretty nice for $30. The insoles are very thin and provide little cushioning so I replaced them for $10. My only complaint is that on the outside of the ankles they rub just a little but not enough to cause blisters or callouses. (I have a narrow foot and a high arch.) All in all, a good shoe for the money.
