In 1998 the company went public, and moved into a new era as a world leader in the active outdoor apparel industry. This is by far the best trail sandal I've found. I can't buy enough of them, and I'm terrified that Columbia will discontinue them one day (which is typically my luck.) They are wonderfully comfortable, and take a tremendous pounding (I walk my Pit Bull about six miles per day, and these hold up through the season.) And, as long as you avoid salt water, they dry without nasty stains on them. On a aesthetic note, I find them to be good-looking, as well.

You can't go wrong with these.
