5.0 out of 5 stars What a great price for a great shoe
I have been wearing Columbia low hikers for years, and walk a few miles a day in them on dirt roads. I needed to replace my "Razor Ridge" hikers, so I got these. They feel great, and in my size they cost $48 less than at a certain other online shoe retailer (it starts with Z).

I plan to buy a second pair for next year because this price is so low...

2.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price and not a penny more
I paid a ridiculously small amount for this pair of shoes - under $20. With how little I paid for them, they are fine. I would not recommend then at full price. They are not worth $69. There is no discernible arch support, the soles are not padded, and the sides are not supportive.

Interesting note: in almost all shoes I wear a women's 10, but in these and my old Columbia hikers I wear a 10.5. If you have big feet, like I do, these aren't going to make them look any smaller, that's for sure. But I have given up on that - they give me good support, keep my heels in place (both up and down and side to side) and have a good tread for traction. And the laces stay tied - what more can you ask?

It is very comfortable and especially good to wear it during raining day. Since i do not wear raining boot at all. The price is also very low. It is good choice to buy it. But sometime it is hard to match clothes. In all, it is very all.

I ordered 1 pair of these shoes. Amazon shipped them very quickly! I put them on, and after adjusting the laces to where they fit my foot better, they were wonderful. As soon as I recieved them, and found how nice these shoes are, I ordered another pair in a different color. You cannot beat this shoe for the amazing price!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Durable but heavy, October 31, 2010

I purchased these trail shoes to hike part of the Grand Canyon. While breaking them in I noticed they are quite heavy. It took a while to get use to and I ended up wearing them on long hikes. They are very durable. Worth the price especially for short hikes.

One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. The price at the time I purchased them was just unbeatable, you can't get them for that price anywhere else.

Haven't taken them out on the trails, but thought I would say they are very true to size. I always wear a 10, but there wasn't a 10 available, so I bought a 10.5, and they are too long. I'll keep them, cause I paid nothing for them, but length is just a bit too long. Width is comfy -- maybe a thicker sock...

4.0 out of 5 stars GOOD BUY, June 2, 2009

I've been running park trails in these shoes for a month now, so I can't promise they'll live forever. But they do nicely on mixed and uneven terrain. They give a good amount of support without being to heavy, and the slightly widened sole doesn't hang out so far that you feel like you're wearing snowshoes. For under $30, I'm very satisfied.
