My husband loved the sandals. Well made and extremely comfortable. He often has difficulty finding a good fit in any shoe (size 14) but this sandal was perfect.

They are reasonably comfortable for walking, look good on the feet but run a bit large in length. I would order a size smaller the next time if I ordered them.

I wanted a sandal that I could walk around, get wet, do some climbing, jumping, running! I found this one! Exactly what I needed! I found myself walking on sand, climbing rocks and rough ground to end up at a waterfall to cool my feet off! I didnt have to take the sandals off because they were waterfriendly and that was a plus. My buddy and I wear the same size and I wanted him to try them on, he was surprised at how comfy they were and still look sylish too. I was worried about the strap across the top of my feet but found that it was very comfortable! I made it snug enough to do the climbing around and it did not give way! Very glad that I found the Sandals!

These are quality sandals. I originally ordered size 10s, but they were too big. Returned those without a hitch, and ordered 9s. These fit much better. The velcro straps make for easy adjustment. Nice thick soles and solid construction. I've taken up hiking/backpacking and got these for camp shoes; I suspect these'll serve for a good long time.

I've had these now for about a month and while that's nowhere close enough to judge a sandal's quality it certainly didn't give me the irritation that some other sandal's i tried out did. In fact, i find it quite comfortable and durable. All in all, has the makings of a great product!

EDIT: More than a year of everyday use through all kinds of west coast weather and still pretty good! Great pair of sandals.

These sandals run large. The strap on the back does not properly hold on to my heel but it can not be adjusted. The footbed is uncomfortable after a few hours. Not what I expected from Columbia.

Nice for the beach or around the pool. For the price, I thought they would be a little better for walking. I used them on a long walk down the boardwalk and regretted wearing them on the way back, and even went barefoot for the last few blocks. Would be better if that back strap was adjustable to tighten things up if needed. Even my cheap old OP sandals have that.

Replacing a much more expensive sandal, and it does a better job. Waterproof, so no issues washing the car in them. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

I bought these sandals in August 2010. I spent 3 weeks in Sichuan and Yunnan province in China wearing these sandals in October 2010. The weather was humid and misty most of time with some heavy rains in Lijiang, China. They handled very well in the damp weather and I was walking most of the day--8+ hours. I am back home in Southern California now and use them most weekends. I usually wear out sandals in a few months, but the outer souls are more durable on these so I have been wearing for 5 months now. I sometimes walk 4-6 miles each Saturday and Sunday with these sandals. The price is very good, they are comfortable, and they last longer than most sandals.

Normally I love Columbia Products, but these have caused me to loose faith. I have had these sandals for about 6 months but only wore them a handful of times. I got deployed for military and brought them with me in hopes of using them to scoot around my living area, well we can't wear open toed shoes so they are sitting under my bunk. I went to pack them up and send them home since I couldn't use them. Picked them up and the left sole was separated 4" from the toes area back and again 1/2" from there another few inches mid sole. I always liked Columbia Products and have a lot of them. This experience will test my faithfulness as a customer. I have submitted this issue to their Customer Service, we will see if they will correct this issue. I am not writing this to hinder your decision of purchasing this product, but to warn you of what happened to the ones I purchased. Over all I was fairly happy with them, minimal break-in period and comfortable fit. Next pair I purchase will have a closed toe for that added protection in the water. Otherwise great for casual poolside activities and BBQ's, not deep woods worthy.
