When ordering the Columbia Sportswear vest make sure you order one or two sizes larger as they run SMALL. The quality is top of the line. The fleece doesn't pill. This is a "TOP DRAWER" company.

I bought the vest for my mom - she loves it. She wears it around the house instead of a sweater as it is not as bulky but just as warm. It fits well on the shoulders & the slightly fitted cut at the waist allows the vest to look good both zipped & open. My only issue is that it is not a true black - it has more gray in it so it will not "match" a black outfit. Otherwise, we have been delighted with the purchase.

I have three of these vests. First I bought a size medium (I am 5'6" and weigh 125) and it was fine. The next two I bought were smalls, and they actually fit better. The medium is still okay, but roomy. It definitely helps keep my core body warmer without wearing a ton of extra clothes. I'm not crazy about the black collar on the grey vest, but it will do. The solid black is my favorite for going with everything.

The vest fits so beautifully that I sometimes forget I have it on. I like the zip front and pockets. I especially appreciate the pockets because, under my heavy coat, I can hide my treasures (e.g., cell phone, money, ID). I wish I'd purchased on in every color.

I like the vests, but the material is a little bit too lightweight.
They have to be treated carefully when putting tees, divot tools,
golf balls, etc. in the pockets.

This is a nice fleece for a good price. It comes in a larger variety of colors than most of the ones I looked at. As another reviewer noted, the sizes run large. The extra small was plenty big for a very average-sized woman (approx. 5'5" and around 130 lbs.).

Like the cut/shape and wt of this item.

I bought this vest for my daughter who moved from New Orleans to PA this fall. She loves it and wears it morning, noon, and night. I knew I couldn't go wrong if it was from Columbia and I was right. The fit was right on target and it offers her warmth without too much bulk. She looks great!!

This vest provided a perfect fit for me even though my waist line is on the full figured side.... the material is super soft and in a nice milk chocolate shade of brown. I was happy with the price and quality!

I ended up returning this item because it was too big. The quality looked acceptable, but the sizes seem to run large and the result is a really baggy, drafty vest if you're not careful. I'd suggest ordering a size down.
