Joel Barlow was a chaplain in the Revolutionary army and a member of a group of federalist poets known as the Hartford Wits, who modeled their political satire on Alexander Pope's Dunciad. Arthur Ford is a professor emeritus of English at Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania.

Careless Publisher,

I can not take any publication seriously when the publisher of the book has the author's name incorrect on the cover of the book. The author should be Joel Barlow. I suggest anyone interested in this book find a book with a more accurate and careful publisher.
