The strong, ductile iron main castings are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials. The hardened steel jaw faces have a deep knurled pattern to ensure positive gripping, ensures strength, and increases longevity. The pipe jaws are interchangeable and reversible; they do not protrude beyond the jaw faces, so other work can be held without removing the pipe jaws. The swivel base rotates 360 degrees and a gear lock bolt ensures positive locking to prevent slippage.

Searching for a great vise? THEN SEARCH NO MORE!!! This is by far the best vise i have ever used, period... Da wood cutter and "bernie madoff" have never obviously never really needed a vise for anything heavy duty. This thing is an Industrial/Heavy Duty bench vise and will hold your truck in the air if your bench is heavy enough! Got this for my farm shop and you just cant beat it... I never fill out reviews but noticed this had an average rating and wondered why? So i thought it deserved much better. This is not your average homeowner's or weekend/honeydooer's project guy kinda vise - so don't spend that kind of money! However, if you need to clamp and hold a 6" I-beam about 15 ft long in the air and stand on the end to weld it and your bench is mounted to the floor or weighs 2 ton then this is one of the only vises you can trust!!!!
