The envelopes can take a bit of abuse without tearing or puncturing, and the glue actually holds the flap closed, even under a little pressure. Well constructed.

These make a wonderful alternative to the normal 8 1/2 x 11 envelopes especially if you have a few pages which only requires one fold over to fit the envelope.
