With guest star George Hamilton this is another Columbo episode with superb writing and great acting. This one is about a corrupt medical doctor who has an affair with his patient. This is the episode that has the blind eyewitness. It is a very clever script.

The sixth and last episode of this fourth season, A DEADLY STATE OF MIND, was broadcasted on April 27th, 1975. It's also possible to watch this episode in the DVD standard by purchasing Columbo - The Complete Fourth Season. After the excellent Columbo Collector's Edition: By Dawn's Early Light, this is the second episode directed by Harvey Hart. George Hamilton and Lesley Ann Warren are the guest stars of the episode.

More than 30 years later, I still remembered how psychiatrist George Hamilton managed to hypnotize Lesley Ann Warren and make up jump from the sixth floor of a motel into a virtual swimming pool with only one phone call.
