This book is full of stories showing us that the two most important parts of a successful marriage are love and humor. After reading this book I felt like I actually knew this family personally. Looking forward to future books by this talented author.

Author Terry McLeod-Huppenthal has given us a book that is entertaining, fun and inspiring. I am not sure that she intended it to be so when she wrote it but the stories in her book reflect very well on her love for her husband and for life itself. She is not afraid to laugh at her own follies or short comings and her positive views of life come through even when her life is having some difficulties. I enjoyed the light-hearted manner that she unfolds her life tales. She certainly doesn't take her own life situations so seriously and is able to keep her sanity by relying on her wit and great sense of humor.

Readers will enjoy the series of short stories (all are true experiences from her life) as she gives us snap-shots of her life. We learn about her husband and her family but more importantly we can see the human spirit in the writer's view of her world. She is one person whom you might enjoy being on a slow boat to China or to any where. She comes across as a truly remarkable and likable person. Her style of writing makes you feel like you are sitting down for coffee at her home and she is telling you these personal experiences across the table from you. He can almost hear the author's voice.

The reader will find that they are smiling, or laughing at times but are never bored! The book is an easy read for all age groups and is definitely family orientated. If you were about to take a trip or a vacation and were looking for a little book to take along - this would be the one you should choose. I fully recommend this book and found it a delight to read!
