I run a small marina and we have had COMCASH for 4 years now, primarily because it is used by several employees for school-based projects. If I had it my way, we would have gotten rid of it A LONG TIME AGO!!! STAY AWAY!!! If you are on the east coast, you can't get tech support until 10AM. So if your a store that opens at a normal 8am like we do, you better pray you have no issues, because no one will be there to help you. They charge you OUTRAGEOUS tech support fees and claim that you are a "valued customer" but I do not think making a customer wait on hold for over an hour when they are having software issues and trying to open their business in the morning classifies you as a valued customer. As far as the software is concerned... it is a pain trying to get it to connect with any merchant services. We switched providers this season and had severe complications for over 2 weeks, to a point where we had sales being lost and credit card transactions unrecovered. The program would randomly cancel sales. COMCASH was little to no help on this issue, so I played phone tag back and forth between the credit card companies and COMCASH. After the problem was resolved, we have still had several issues with the software, such as randomly freezing while trying to close the store, not allowing us to close (which makes opening the store impossible, especially when tech support is not there to help you), and randomly demanding access codes in the middle of the day to where we have to shut our system down for hours until COMCASH returns our CRITICAL ISSUE call to resolve the problem. In summary, this product is way more trouble than it's worth, and the tech support is absolutely worthless. I would recommend a cash register before this POS software!!

After waiting and writing and trying for 2 1/2 months after I placed my order, I still have received nothing and have not had any responses from Ultimo.Mobi. I give them a zero rating but amazon needed at least a 1, so that's the only reason they even got that.

I've had Comcash for 10 plus years and have had many previous POS systems. This one is very reasonable in price and dependent in my opinion. If there is something that you may find useful that is not part of the system, Comcash will do there best to include in the next update. Yes, the time zone for east coast is off a few hours but the flip side to that is that they are open later for support. I have 3 systems and planning on upgrading soon to the latest software.

We have been recommending ComCash to our customers since 2004. We have experienced none of the issues mentioned in the two previous reviews. We recommend ComCash primarily because of their customer support and their willingness to allow their customers access to their data through SQL. That is very important, because if your POS vendor hides his source code, you are stuck with what you get and nothing else. We connect ComCash POS systems to our mainframe computers, collect data from them and update pricing over our Cloud network. I don't understand why these bad reviews have not been challenged. I am sorry for the problems the others have had, but we like ComCash and their support people have always been friendly and professional in our dealings with them. When you consider the price, the service and the support, it's a heck of a good deal.
