5.0 out of 5 stars Mother of TBI
As the mother of a TBI victim who received his injury from result of an assault, I saw this docudrama on HBO and found myself watching what we went through last year (2007). Fortunately my son has gone "beyond" but he still struggles daily with recuperating from his injury. I made the purchase of the movie so we can watch it and see how far we have come. Right now it...

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality video
Excellent documentary of comatose patients. Used it in my classroom, in conjuction with the Nervous system section. The video is very poor quality from about half way through until the end. It freezes, the words and the mouth movements are not together, and there are "hot spots" on the video.

Right now it is loaned out to one of his therapist's who had never worked with a TBI patient until he met my son.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the classroom, September 20, 2011

I teach high school medical science and show this documentary to my students. It starts kind of slow but from about the middle to the end, the students are at the edge of their seats wanting to know what the outcome will be for these patients. Equally heart-tugging is the effect that these injuries have on the families. The financial and emotional strain is enormous. This is an overall excellent documentary for anyone interested in brain injured people.
