An excellent work of juvenile literature,
By Jess (Gardner, KS United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Combat Rescue Helicopters: The Mh-53 Pave Lows (Looking at Simple Machines) (Library Binding)
This is an excellent children's book. Any parent with an aspiring aviation enthusiast should pick up the entire series of Bill Sweetman's children's books. One who would pick up this book expecting it to be a serious technical book, the definitive word on MH-53's, will be disappointed, however if one understands this is a children's book, they will be most pleased. Excellent work!

Disappointing treatment of a very interesting subject,
By Stephen D. Barker (Tucson, AZ USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Combat Rescue Helicopters: The Mh-53 Pave Lows (Looking at Simple Machines) (Library Binding)
Published for the juvenile market, this title offers little more than cursory information in its meager number of pages. Anyone looking for detailed information about past MH-53 missions or comprehensive pictorial reference material will not find it here. The selection and quality of photographs is especially weak.
