I spent four years looking for this CD, and it was worth every effort! Jazzy and funky, smooth and stylish, this is a great one to play at dinner parties, in the car, and while relaxing at home. That's not to say that it's just relaxing white noise; Ame Strong makes you want to affect a luxe lifestyle! Notable songs include the crown jewel of the album, "Tout Est Bleu," the sensually mellow "Bout au Bout," and "Check-In," which will inspire you to become a jet-setter.

I bought this CD in France five years ago. From that time on, it has been one of my favorite CD's. It is always loaded in my stereo! All the tracks have the same sound, so if you are feelin one, you will be feeling them all. Mellow, smooth, and romantic describe this music. If you like Amel Larrieux or Brand New Heavies, you will absolutely love Ame Strong. OK, I have heard a "muzac" version of Tout est Bleu on the elevator, and I heard a house remix of Tout est Bleu recently when I went out clubbing! But this CD is so hard to find! Thanks, Treva

Even though I understood only every other word (my French is mediocre at best), I felt very cosmopolitan as I listened to this CD. It made me want to run out and buy a loaf of bread and pair of strappy little sandals and come home and dance around naked (while eating the bread). That's not bad for a first-time listener. She is infectious, and bound to bring out the little Frenchwoman (man) in you!

I'm definitely very late on the scene to find this CD, but I just had to write this review. As the other reviews have stated - its very, very good music of its type. Its one of those CD's that really grows on you. So even the songs that intially you perhaps didnt catch on to - eventually you find the song within. Very enjoyable. If you remotely like this style of music; then you must track a copy down. We need more of this stuff! Sadly not much is known about Andy Shafte and Pascale Hospital (in public domain anyway). Pascale unfortunately passed away in January, 2005.
