combat wings battle of britain is a flight sim . however it it a arcade flight sim , the graphics are very nice and you get to blow wings off other planes , there is smoke and fire and the skys are busy .I own just about every flight sim , my favorites are il2 and il2 sturmovic with the ace expansion pack . realistic . this game is also. at first i was not impressed as the mouse is your key control and takes a little while to get used to . but it gets right into the game and the germans start to attack . you can play easy or hard level . if your looking for a realistic flight sim then no this is not for you . but this gets 4 stars for fun as you sweat and your blood pressure goes up and down . i went on line and you can even try a free demo if your not sure . but like i said it is a lot of fun.

I bought this game "Combat Wings: Battle of Britain " and received it today on a Saturday. Was looking forward to playing it. But it would not load. My security software picked up a worm. So it would not let the program load. Other reviews complain of a worm and a trojan horse. So something is wrong with this game.
Also, another thing, when I bought this game, under the title in that area. It shows the platform it will play on for PC users. It said Vista/NT. But when I looked at the box after I got the game. It did not say it was vista compatible. It sure showed up when I did a general game search for PC games play with Vista Platforms too.
So off the UPS store Monday to return it. What a waste. It will not let me submit the comment without a rating, so I am only giving one star to submit the rating. My real rating is ZERO STARS.

This game has nice graphics and is fun to play. It was easy to figure out how to play.

this is an easy to pick up flying game. it's not as in depth as some of the simulators, which in turn makes it the kinda game that'll put a kill-happy smile on your face in the first 5 minutes.

good game easy to play but needs more levels. completed this game is less than an hour and moved on to the next one. overall a great game

My Norton Antivirus 2009 detected a high risk trojan horse virus embedded in the games.exe file. Buyer beware. City-Interactive website is non responsive about this problem. Others report similar issues with the other 2 games that are part of this package.

Amazon.com should cease sales of this product! I will attempt to return the game for a refund.

I'm an old school gamer who used to play a lot of hardcorp flight sims. This isn't one of those. But I tried the demo and found it very easy to get into and lots of fun. The graphics are beautiful and the controls are very smooth and polished. For the price, and with the proper mindset, this is a fantastic game.

It actually encouraged me to go pick up a few other of their games. I wish it was sold by Steam or digital download though--finding a Best Buy that carries it was a pain.

I bought this game recently, however, my computer security detected a worm in the game during installation and couldn't complete the install.
