5.0 out of 5 stars A Rave Review!, March 14, 2001
By
Richard L. Wohletz (Long Beach, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Combating Air Rage (Paperback)
I highly recommend this book for any traveler. Whether you travel infrequently, or are an extreme traveler ("extremie"), you will find this book as humorous as it is enlightening. The author draws on years of experience, and gives specifics about various airports visited and common pitfalls dealing with luggage, flight confirmations and "passenger etiquette" that will give you the tools to stand out from the rest. Not only to surve, but to flourish in that traveler's jungle out there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Airlines Beware!, March 5, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Combating Air Rage (Paperback)
I travel often, and found this book very, very helpful in figuring out how to deal with the airlines during ever-present delays. The author has lots of experience -- really helped ease the stress of my business travel. I greatly enjoyed the whimsical anecdotes == very funny stories. Both a fun and helpful book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Road Warriors, You Need This Book!, March 2, 2001

Aaron Benner (Apopka, FL United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Combating Air Rage (Paperback)
This book is a compendium of useful and hilarious trivia on making your next business stay a lot more fun. It discusses areas from how to cope with airport travel and delays, to how to get "hidden" hotel upgrades. My favorite part was the discussion on how to make macaroni and cheese in the hotel room coffee pot! Great reading.

Excellent book. Mr. Celentino draws upon his own travel experiences to come up with a book that is both entertaining and extremely useful for the frequent flier. It reminds me of some of the experiences I have gone through myself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny and practical., March 2, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Combating Air Rage (Paperback)
I thought the content of this book was practical. I mean to say that I learned some new tips for traveling. I also laughed along the way. I even sent a copy to my 83-year old Grandmother and she got a kick out of it as well. She still travels by plane.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent to read while on an airplane!, March 10, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Combating Air Rage (Paperback)
A friend of mine bought me this gift to read during a long international flight. It was great! Not only was it humorous and helped pass the time, but it had some great tips --- some that were immediately useful in flight. (The section on sitting next to a snorer was immenently useful.) There are a few slight formatting errors that the publisher should look to, but other than that, it is a delightful book and a must for any traveler.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Review:, March 6, 2001
This review is from: Combating Air Rage (Paperback)
Detailed, practial and sometimes downright hilarious, this engaging book covers everything from ticket buying strategies and tips on choosing the best seat, to what to do when your traveling companion happens to be a 4 foot bottle of chianti. It's refreshing to read a "business/travel" book written with such wit-- I'd like to see more books by this author.

4.0 out of 5 stars Combatting Air Rage - Insight and Humor At Last!, March 2, 2001
This review is from: Combating Air Rage (Paperback)
I have not yet had the opportunity to read the book in it's entirety however what I have read describes the frustrations that we frequent travlers encounter on a daily basis. The author describes what can be very annoying situations in a humorous way while offering logical suggestions and pointers. Where other travel 'help' books tend to be dry and matter of fact this book offers a more light-hearted (but results oriented) way of coping with the travel woes that have become a constant in a frequent traveler's life. I look forward to finishing the book and encourage others to look at travel in the more humorous, optimistic way that this author intends.
