I have a daughter that is 27 lbs @ 9 Months. She fits in the carrier very well and loves to ride in it. It is a big help to have both arms free. The only thing I don't like is the pocket that carries the rain cover. I wish that the rain cover would could be removed from the pocket. I haven't and don't plan on using the rain cover and it takes up space causing the pocket to be bulky. Other than that I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

I just received this for Christmas and this carrier is extremely comfortable and functional. My baby is happy to be carried around in it, and, because it is a hip carrier, it distributes his weight evenly making it easier on your back. I love the look of this carrier (I have it in lt. grey/ dk. grey). For the price, I think it is top notch. Definitely recommend buying this.

I bought this carrier in my never-ending quest for the PERFECT baby carrier. In terms of comfort, it's OK. However, it is extremely convenient while running short errands, as it keeps my hands free. The raincoat attachment that is located inside one of the pockets was a nuisance, so I cut it out in order to free up some space. I can now carry 2 diapers, some wipes, and a small changing pad in that pocket. I can also carry my wallet and cell phone in the outer pocket. It's very handy and my daughter loves being close to me. I recommend it to people all the time!

Carrier is really good hip carrier. Lots los handy pockets. Rain cover! I returned back new Hip Hammock Deluxe by Playtex and used spare cash.

I bought this item three years ago for my first child. I wasn't able to use it much, but I loved the durability and functionality that it has. I originally bought the bjorn carrier to carry my daughter in front but she didn't like it since all my movements disturbed her. Fortunately, I saw this one that held your child on your hip and she was okay with that. I recently gave birth to my second child and I have been able to use it more now because he also likes me holding him on the side. I haven't used the rain cover yet, but it feels very strong. The added pouch is a great hands free idea. I love having that the most. I don't have to worry about carrying extra items on my shoulders. Ouch!!

This hip carrier is exactly what I was looking for -- at 9 mo. my baby boy already weighed 24 lbs. and I could no longer carry him comfortably. This carrier supports my back and shoulders by greatly diminishing the weight and strain of carrying my chunky monkey -- and he seems so-o-o comfortable!

I love the look and the function of this carrier but it hurts my neck and back. If you are in shape and muscular on top this would work great for you but if your idea of working out is chasing kids around and are carrying around a "few" extra pounds like me, you should stick to a stroller.

THIS IS A GREAT CARRIER FOR OLDER BABIES. I USED IT FOR MY TRIP. I WAS ABLE TO USE IT DURING THE FLIGHT FOR HOLDING MY BABY ON MY LAP. ON SHOPPING TRIPS, SHE WOULD FELL A SLEEP IN IT BEEN CLOSE TO MOM, THE MOVEMENT AND THE SOUNDS. I EVEN POP POP GOLF WITH HER SLEEPING ON THE CARRIER. THE ONLY REASON I DID NOT GIVE 5 STARS TO THIS PRODUCT IS BACEUSE I AGREE THE RAINCOAT IS POINLESS, INSTEAD I WOULD LIKE IT TO HAVE A HEADREST THAT COME OUT OF THE POCKET. MY ARM HURT WHILE HOLDING MY BABY'S HEAD WHEN SHE WAS SLEEPING. SHE LOVED TO BE HELD IN THIS CARRIER FOR HOURS, SHE ONLY LASTED 5 MINUTES ON MY PREVIOS CARRIER.

My baby was not comforatble at all. I felt like it was jabbing right through my shoulder and I couldn't wait to take it off. And though I'm not a big girl, I found it totally unflattering. My Bjorn is a million times more comfortable...and looks great too.
