Single-beam, scanning, UV-visible spectrophotometer is ideal for busy quality control laboratories. Features include a large and accessible sample compartment and a 7-position, thermostat-ready cell programmer. The integrated 1.44Mb floppy disk drive and non-volatile memory provide unlimited storage of methods, data, and curves with instant recall. The built-in electronic maintenance log stores over 400 user or service engineer events, such as lamp changes and preventative maintenance records. Includes a large VGA graphics LCD display and has outputs for a recorder (0-1V) and RS-232C. Measurement modes include absorbance, % transmittance, timed interval measurements, concentration, concentration factor, scanning, fixed, quantification, ratio and corrected ratio, serial wavelength, multiple wavelengths (up to 20), multi-component analysis (up to 20 compounds) and kinetics. The SuperSipper (14214-408) is a multi-roller peristaltic pump that is fully controlled from the software running the spectrophotometer. Handles sample volumes from 200uL to 9.999mL, and flowcell pathlengths from 10-40mm. Features programmable volume, airgap, and calibration. Requires a flowcell or tubing pack for operation. The MiniSipper handles sample volumes from 200uL to 3mL. The narrow rectangular longpath cuvette holder (57969-653) holds ten 12Wx100Lmm rectangular cuvettes. Use the SPECTRONIC standards kit to check the performance and accuracy of the unit. Insert standards into the cuvette holder to check for 0% transmittance, stray radiant energy, and wavelength accuracy, linearity, and precision. Each set is individually calibrated and certified against equipment whose calibration is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The combination test tube/cell holder accommodates one test tube and one cuvette and allows the user access to both without switching out the holder. The ultra microcell holder holds one microcell.
