Screenwriter Teague Richfield knows the reputation of Hollywood, it's a dog-eat-dog town. Careers are launched and careers can be destroyed...all at the whim of the powerplayers.

When a studio executive friend calls Teague, inviting her to lunch one day, she is intrigued...especially since the executive has `something' to talk to Teague about. But before Teague has a chance to find out what...her friend is attacked.

A cop before becoming a screenwriter, Teague sets to find out the reason behind the attack and discovers there's something that someone wants back and they're willing to kill to get it. Whoever it is is sending Teague a clear message - give it back or die! She has no idea what she is supposed to have but she's damned sure going to find out.

On a trip home to see her parents, Teague is talked into contacting a friend of her mother's....a psychic astrologer. Teague might consider Callie Rivers a nut, but she's a beautiful nut and Teague is smitten. However, Callie knows Teague is "not ready" for her. Whatever that means Teague has no idea. What she does know is that now both of them are being targeted. The one clue beginning to stand out is a small scarab stone etched with markings that no one can decipher...no one that is except the killer and the man who seems to be at the center of it all. And he's dead. Will Teague and Callie be able to unravel the mystery and uncover the killer before they find themselves in the same position?

Andrews & Austin have certainly arrived on the scene with a dynamic tale of suspense, intrigue and drama. Combust The Sun sends the reader on a fast-paced journey with our heroines, experiencing events as they unfold and rooting wholeheartedly for their chance at romance! I thought this was a good book and I enjoyed reading it. I learned a lot about astrology.
