Unless you have 7 hours, yes 7 hours to spend to change a password on an email account, stay away. They have the poorest customer support I have ever seen and good luck trying to find somebody who can do anything for you. It took me 7 hours all night, waking up my husband and son at 4:00 in the morning so they could verify they were there, then we had to have my husbands cell phone from work so he could answer the number he gave them because he put that number on the account when the account went back into his name. They decided I was lying I guess. This all happened even after I gave them everything including their socials to prove who we were. I am 60 years old, my health is not up to staying up all night and typing. They claimed they could not call and talk we had to stay on chat. So much easier to talk than keep typing for HOURS. Yet the demanded to further assist me, they had to call that work phone and speak to my husband. But I still would have to use the chat for everything else. Now they are telling me I still will not get my email for 3 to 9 buisness days. This probably doesn't make sense. I don't think I can make it make sense as this was the worse experience I have ever had with customer service and I chatted with 3 differnt people. NONE of it still makes sense to me. FINALLY one of the girls was so frustrated as something would not work, she finally got me a superversor which I had constantly been asking for. He did finally do something that will eventually work out so hopefully I get my email as I have many saved/stored important papers to me in it. But there were a couple of travel documents needed NOW. I am really scared as last time seen my account and it was after they started something, only 25 of my over 1000 emails were available, but access was taken away too fast to study it. They have really done something wrong by movinmg this email without consent anmd they are doing nothing but covering their you know what. So if you don't want to have this happen to you, I would suggest you find another provider. Their internet works ok, lots of outages if thats ok with you but NOTHING is worth what I just went through. The people working for them are not very intelligent and are actually very rude. Other than telling them I was getting very upset I was not rude to them. And if you enjoy being called a liar, and act like they can't talk to you, then get comcast. But I think they have grown too fast and forgot what made them. Customer service for people on this type of product is essential. This cannot be tolerated. Oh and if you think I am computer illiterate and its my fault, try again. I worked for the government as a computer analyst/specialist and provided support. The only think I did wrong was to forget my password. Everything else that happened was because one of their employees did not do their job. It is a long story and left out alot but in a nut shell, Comcast really needs to bring back the customer service they used to have. Being in the buisness, I recognize what they did have and what they now do not have. I hope they have backups of my emails..... that is all I can say for them from my perspective now. Goes to show you, your employees can make or break you.
