5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific song
This is an incredibly well-crafted song - beautiful lyrics, catchy tune, rock power for a bite, and, of course, David Cook's voice that ties it all together giving it meaning and substance. It is no coincidence that this song has been reviewed by professional critics as being U2esque. The song soars and stays with you like a nice warm ember.

2.0 out of 5 stars too Pop
I love this album, but this is my least favorite song on the album. One of the only 2 not penned by David Cook, it's clearly written to appeal to people who love the "pop" genre and not much else. The lyrics are simplistic, but the tune is catchy and hence it's popularity. I would recommend "Avalanche" as a much better written and beautiful romantic song on this album.

Beautiful song from a talented man. As far as the song -we've all been there. One of my favorites on a Brilliant Album. Ofcourse, "Lie" is a must too (the night before, maybe)!!!

Out of the whole CD, there were a few songs I really liked, but this song is my absolute favorite. I love David's voice! Yes, the higher price is ridiculous, and I'm noticing it on quite a few songs here on Amazon and itunes as well. So I'm definitely more picky about which songs I choose to download. But 'Come Back To Me' by David Cook was worth the price to me. Others may feel different, but to each their own. This is just a great song.

David Cook impresses me with this song - LOVE the video - I own the song - find myself singing it without realizing it!!! Can't hit the high note, though, lol.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cooking Up Again, May 3, 2009

When it honestly has came down to it, there just hasn't been much hurrah from the talent from American Idol this past year. The buzz has really been about the judges from the desk from Simon Cowell and Paula Addul's bickering, as well as the new 4th judge joing the pact, and the talent has shwon to be better from the U.K with Britain's Got Talent, instead of Idol this year. As for last year's winner David Cook, he sadly too hasn't been able to keep that fighting spirit up. His latest single Come Back to me, isn't as bad as some of the other songs on radio right now, but honestly not really a standout song that makes it worth while. But for David, it honestly though is at least a bit better than his lackluster previous singles, Light On and Time Of My Life. Still, I wish he could find something better to knock our socks off the feet.

Song: C 1/2-

Okay, folks let's stick together on this. Please don't buy ANY of these OVER-PRICED songs until they drop to normal price! I can see asking 10% more for a more popular song, but 30%?? These greedy recording companies need to be taught a lesson... SCREW THE NEW PRICE.
