Swindoll is senior pastor of Stonebriar Community Church, chancellor of Dallas Theological Seminary, and the Bible teacher on the internationally syndicated radio program Insight for Living. He has written more than thirty best-selling books, including STRENGTHENING YOUR GRIP, LAUGH AGAIN, THE GRACE AWAKENING, and the million-selling GREAT LIVES FROM GOD'S WORD series. Chuck and his wife, Cynthia, live in Frisco, Texas.

I highly recommend this book. Not only is it great "read for ten minutes before bed" type reading, but also has really helped me and inspired me through various times and trials. Unlike many daily devotionals, Swindoll manages to keep his writing extremely personal, whether broaching lighter topics or heavy doctrinal issues. After reading the book, I not only feel as though I have keener insight on different topics, but I feel like I've gotten to know someone as well.

Many of you have read books like this in the past, I'm sure. This one is different and has such wonderful insight that it is a must-read for anyone searching for inspiration, answers, and growth. As a Christian, we cannot become complacent in our education and this book is helpful in that area. It has forced me to think with new insight about things that I thought I already knew. Please consider a copy of this book; you will grow.
