The late Earl King was best known for his Ace recordings for Johnny Vincent. His few singles for Imperial were overlooked. Unfortunately he joined Imperial as they were about to be sold to Liberty. There are great originals here that should have been hits like Trick Bag, Mama & Papa and Come On but lacked the promotion they deserved. An interesting look into 60s New Orleans r&b.
