Aaron Oh Aaron...What Are You Going To Do With Your Career?,
By
This review is from: Come Get It: The Very Best Of Aaron Carter (Audio CD)
This is (count it) the third compilation CD Jive has released for Aaron Carter. That is including the double set of Aaron's Party and Oh Aaron. This CD breaks no new ground and is just truly a step backwards for Aaron. The one possible redeeming factor could be the release of Bounce and AC's Alien Nation (long forgotten on the Jimmy Neutron Soundtrack).
But the rest of the songs we have heard before and they appear on several other CDs. One song that has always been conspicous by its absence is called "Sugar" - a technoish song that was never released because it too closely resembled Daniel Bettingfield's "We Gotta Get Through This." If only Aaron had released it first, it would have been his breakthrough song. Also missing from this collection is "Life is a Party" from the Rugrats in Paris Soundtrack. Seriously people, don't waste your time with this rehashed excuse for a corporate shill of a CD. Instead, go download the two songs mentioned above.

the fact that Jive thinks it's necessary to release a 'best hits' of aaron carter is just ridiculous. how old is he? young 20s? not only has he not had all that many albums, but his songs really aren't worthy of a 'best hits' album. theyre just not. he's aaron carter. please don't support Jive's pathetic attempt to make money, this is a disgrace to music.

*SIGH*,

This review is from: Come Get It: The Very Best Of Aaron Carter (Audio CD)
Newsflash: His second "Greatest Hits" album in a row (his last album: "Aaron Carter: Most Requested Hits (2003)"), while he doesn't even score hits anymore:
Zijn last "hit" was in 2001 ["Leave It Up To Me" #22 in UK]... After this, he released 9 other singles [Not Too Young, Not Too Old - "I'm All About You" - "Another Earthquake" - "Summertime" - "To All the Girls" - "Do You Remember" - "She Wants me" (with Nick) - "One Better" - "Saturday Night"] ALL, piece by piece, FLOPPED! 4 of them are mentioned on this album: 1. Aaron's Pary (Come Get It) - #51 UK 2. That's How I Beat Shaq - #96 US 3. Bounce [new] 4. My Internet Girl [new] 5. I Want Candy - #31 UK 6. Leave It Up To Me - #22 in Engeland 7. A.C.'s Alien Nation ["Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius" soundtrack] 8. Oh Aaron - Huge Flop 9. I'm All About You - Huge Flop 10. To All the Girls - Flop 11. Another Earthquake - Huge Flop 12. One Better - Flop As you see, not even one top 20 hit, nowhere... My opinion should be clear by now. If you ask me, his 2003 "Aaron Carter: Most Requested Hits" is far better than this one! I'm sorry for the fans, It's sadly but true. This can't even be called a "greatest hits" album anymore... There are 2 (of the 12) songs you can call a "hit".
