She is defently one of the best dance singer of modern times. I love her lyrics and the beat is incredible. This album should be a classic of modern dance music.
I hope you enjoy as much as i do.

I buy a minimum of 6 new European techno CDs every month. Most get listened to a few times, then 'retired'. This Gala CD is so damned catchy it's sat in my CD player for close to a year. 'Nuff said.

First time I heard this cd is in my friend's car but he bought it in UK. It was a very dance cd and club one. I just loved the beating. I'd been searching for a long time and finally found it here!! After listening I love this cd even more!!

I first heard of Gala in Italy and fell in love with Let a Boy Cry and Freed From Desire...these are definite club songs. She makes you want to get up and dance!! It is definitely a crowd pleaser!

This was a massive hit in Europe, selling a total of 6 million records. The first two singles - Freed From Desire and Let A Boy Cry - were both number one hits in her native Italy. Gala pays homage to her roots with several songs, including Summer Eclipse. The album shows suprising variety, yet the fact that her biggest hit was a remix (included here) might be worth considering before purchasing. Freed From Desire was one of the last few "Ibiza" holiday songs (along the lines of Whigfield's Saturday Night or Amber's This Is Your Night) with its infection "Na na na na na na na" refrain. The song itself spent several weeks in the UK's top ten, in a long climb to it's #2 peak. The follow-up, Let A Boy Cry, bowed at #11. Curiously, she seems to have banished from view ever since. I've heard stuff on the net about her maybe studying in New York. There is another song called Everyone Has Inside that seems to have been released in 1997 too - yet it is not included in the album. Good in parts, but this album does not contain anything with as much cross-over appeal as the two first singles. Very good for people who were encaptured first time around, who never got round to buying anyhting!

The first song I heard from this cd was Freed from desire. And I liked it. But when I heard Let A Boy Cry I concinved myself that I had to have this cd. So, where did I found it. Right here in amazon.com. The lyrics are very rich, and the strange but beautiful voice of Gala makes this a awesome dance album.

I have heard the voice of this beautiful lady about 3 years ago, in one of the commercials I watched. I was so into it, so searched hard to find out who she was. At last I managed to buy her cd, It is a very dance album, with manupulating lyrics influencing the listener deeply. Cool beats and sound, they attract you at the first time. If you like dance albums, this one is a definetly must buy one.

If you ever been to a club especially in terceira then you know this song is off the hook...the beat is fast and it makes you want to groove!!
