Limited Edition packing not worth extra bucks, January 29, 2002
This review is from: Come with Us (Limited Edition Package) (Audio CD)
There is no reason to purchase the limited edition- the disc is the same, and the only thing you get for the extra money is a non-jewel case package. No extras at all. The album's great! But this edition is not worth it.

Welcome release, but leaves listener wanting, January 29, 2002
This review is from: Come with Us (Limited Edition Package) (Audio CD)
On "Come With Us", "It Began in Afrika" is the strongest track followed by "Star Guitar", so it is no wonder that both of those tracks were treated to CD singles. The last third of the album I found dissapointing. The rest of the album of is definately worthy of at least one listen and demonstrates the interesting variety of approaches that the Chemical Brothers have shown in their past releases. If you are considering the purchase of the Limited Edition package of "Come With Us", don't. It contains no extra tracks. Instead, use that money to buy the standard version of "Come With Us" and any of the currently available CD singles from this album.

Come with Us (Limited Edition Package): No new content, January 29, 2002
This review is from: Come with Us (Limited Edition Package) (Audio CD)
The Limited Edition Package version of the Chemical Brother's album "Come with Us" is exactly that, a limited edition package. It contains no extra tracks. It is simply a cardboard tri-foldout sleeve with the same CD that comes in the standard plastic jewel case version (plus some paper dust). The panels of the tri-foldout contains a psychedlic painting in the new style of the artwork portrayed in the new CD singles ("It Began in Afrika" and "Star Guitar"), and a photo of a two people walking inside what appears to be a tunnel of water. The Limited Edition Package version of "Come With Us" is a waste of money. Instead, use that money to buy the standard version of "Come With Us" and either of the currently available CD singles from this album instead. Regarding the contents of the album itself, "It Began in Afrika" is the strongest track. The last third of the album I found dissapointing. The rest of the album of is definately worthy of at least one listen. However, "Dig Your Own Hole" is still the Chemical Brother's apex.
