Great Debut,

Do yourself a favor and buy this CD.I'm not sure what genre Page France belongs in, but it does belong in your CD collection. The songs have a great flow with voice and guitar (mostly acoustic) out front. Accordion (yes accordion), keys, bass are in the back. The drums are wonderfully subtle. Mike Nau has a pleasantly unique voice, and Whitney McGraw's harmonies are soft, like a whisper. Try this album on for size, it will fit.

Eh,

Some of these songs actually are nice. Most of them, however, particularly Rhythm and Northern Light, are repetitive and homogeneous. It would be nice to have some variety in regards to the vocals. There is next to no instrumental diversity. I won't deny that the album as a whole sounds pleasant, but it's not much more than this. Listen to Hello, Dear Wind instead; even though it came out less than a year after Come, I'm a Lion, it is a vast improvement.

This cd is one of the most amazingly enthrulling albums I have ever owned. I am surprised that people i actually know are able to produce such magic. All of the personalities that make up this group only adds more to the intense soul massaging lyrics and musical splendor. I would encourage anyone to buy this cd. It truly is a remedy to the soul.
