5.0 out of 5 stars Puffy and Page rule
The combonation of Puff Daddy (arguably the greatest rapper/producer of all time), and Jimmy Page of Led Zepplin did a great job of redoing the old Led Zepplin classic. This song is the best song on the soundtrack, and it was the only thing that made the movie almost watchable. This song is great, Puffy rules. Peace.

1.0 out of 5 stars A disgraceful cd.
What can I say about p diddy that hasnt already been said about this joke of a man? This cd further proves that p diddy cant rap or write any original songs. This is just another ploy to make more money by p diddy as thats all he cares about.Very boring soundtrack and its a shame that a talented artist like page would even consider working with this no talent loser.P diddy...

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm no diddy fan whatsoever - but I think this is GREAT, July 11, 2010

To those trying to compare this to ZEP; forget it - this isn't a ZEP knockoff and doesn't pretend to be. It certainly isn't some type of 'Weird Al' parody. The music video of this is completely KILLER, too bad it isn't available anywhere in Hi-Def. Why this isn't on the DVD is a mystery to me ( I do like the Wallflower's version of Heros, but this should be there too). I saw this live on SNL before I saw the movie, and I didn't get it. Anybody who doesn't get this should see the music video (low quality on youtube). I have chanced to catch more than I've wanted to of P-Diddy's performances in various places- and for me, this it the only good thing I've ever seen from him. I think it rocks!

1.0 out of 5 stars Oh man . . . ., December 9, 2001

I'm huge Page fan, but this is just gross. I just don't know what to say, it's that bad. Puff Daddy (P. Diddy or whatever) just can't rap. Straight face here, he actually says "I want to fight you, I'll (...) bite you, I can't stand you" Enough said on Diddy's rapping ability. His attempts at a Plant-like mock orgasim are pathetic to the point it's difficult to tell whether he's faking said orgasim or constipated. Page's remade backing track isn't terrible, a bit too "metal" maybe, but could never save the song from Puff Daddy/P. Diddy anyway.
This is a terrible remake of an awesome song. Thank god Page has moved on and doing excellent work in Page/Plant.

3.0 out of 5 stars The strange collaboration, June 20, 2000
By
This review is from: Come with Me (Audio CD)
As I write it in the title this collaboration may disgust Robert Plant, but to hear the almost 25 year old Kashmir tunes again in a new form, it isn't as disgust now - but why with Puff Daddy? Without this question, to put it away, this single is a must have for any Led Zep, or Page fans. The studio version isn't, but the live version of "Come With Me" is worth it. Everyone, who know the original song can see, that this is a little bit more powerful, with more bass - as in any other rap songs... So except the lyrics, the cd, with its guitarrist Jimmy Page is a must have. Sorry Plant.
