5.0 out of 5 stars Weird Awesome Hybrid of Rap and '70s rock, February 23, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Come With Me / Out There (Audio CD)
Let me say first of all that I am a 31 year old married woman and I generally don't like rap or "classic rock". This thing is so weird, though, it's compelling. I saw Puff Daddy and Jimmy Page perform it on Saturday Night Live and I thought "What on earth is THIS?" But then when I saw it a second time on the rerun, I really loved it. I bought the single here on amazon.com and I've listened to it like 6 times and it is still great.

4.0 out of 5 stars One beloved practise song for my celloplaying., August 9, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Come With Me / Out There (Audio CD)
I'm afraid that I do not exactly have this maxi-single (I only have the original-version and some sh*t called "Morello Mix" on my CD), but I still think that this is absolutley great. I would love to hear the instrumental one, and maybe I'll do that some day. Until then I can live with the fact that Puff Daddy, Jimmy Page and the NBC Enterprices Symphony Orchestra is a wonderful combination.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Song, April 14, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Come With Me / Out There (Audio CD)
I was reading the review of the person who wrote "He should of got shot with his fat friend biggie" and I think that who ever wrote that has way too much time on their hands and who has to write something stupid on a review about a group who made a dumb song sound a lot better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great blend of several popular musical styles, July 13, 2002
This review is from: Come With Me / Out There (Audio CD)
No, "Come With Me" is not the first time that elements of pop, rock, and classical music have joined forces. The rock opera "Tommy" as well as the music of The Beatles and other groups of the 60's and 70's incorporated varying genres to critical and commercial success. But, this song added the element of rap and the result is a stunning musical accomplishment.

Sadly, it didn't achieve the success that Puff Daddy (and his record label) desired. However, the artist can be credited with releasing one of the more innovative rap tracks to emerge in the 90's.

Not bad for a song featured in film about an oversized iguana!
