Both of my children (boy 4 1/2, girl 1 1/2) love this music about trains - especially the dinosaur song. The CD has stood the test of time at our house. We first borrowed it from the library, and my son was constantly asking to get it again. After several renewals, I finally broke down and bought it. There is also a video called "I Love Toy Trains, Part 4" which is set to this entire collection. Both have been big hits at our house for over a year.

What a fantastic CD! James Coffey's collection of train songs is a hit with my 3-year-old and me. We love the catchy melodies and fun lyrics. My son's favorite is "the fast song", a tune about dinosaurs eating up the railway! This album also includes the grooviest rendition of "I've Been Workin' on the Railroad" that I've ever heard. As a parent, I appreciate that Coffey presents a variety of musical genres, from caribbean to blues Choo-Choo Blues is a hilariously tongue-in-cheek song--"I've got those choo-choo blues because I broke my choo-choo train". And Johnny Cash fans will get a pleasant surprise on track #7. Way to go James! Can't wait for the next CD!

The words are great, the music is sophisticated - intelligent songs for train-savvy kids. James Coffey inserts just enough silliness to make adults and children laugh (the dinosaur ate what?!). Scored major points with my 5 year old nephew with this one!

Since my sons love the "I love toy trains" videos, I thought they'd enjoy listening to the music from the shows in the car and I was right!

We love this music CD - the songs are so great. My older son is 4 1/2 and he LOVES the I Love Yoy Trains dvds. I thought how awesome to bring those wonderful songs into the car and enjoy them all the time. It makes us happy to sing along w/ such wonderful songs and music. The boys just love it.

I ordered this CD for my three year old son after seeing how much he loved the I Love Toy Trains DVD's. I Love Toy Trains DVD Parts (1-3) He was so excited when I gave it to him, and he wanted to listen to it right away. He loves to listen to it when we are in the car. Track number one has a great train bell sound effect that he loves, and "Choo Choo Blues" is one that he loves to sing along to. I plan to look into more James Coffey music for my son.

I bought this CD to play as background music at my son's train themed birthday party. All of the kids loved the music and we had a wide age range. I highly recommend this CD for kids whether they have a love of trains or not. Very fun car riding tunes!

I have two kids (a boy and a girl ages 3 1/2 and 2) who love this music. My son tells me to stop talking and turn up the volume when we listen. They love to get their instruments out and play along. James Coffey writes the music for a train video series produced by Tom McComas (....) that parents will want to check out. My kids prefer these videos over the Thomas series and I think the music is the reason.

My kids got this as a gift from friends in the U.S. and it is a hit both at home and amongst my kids' friends who keep borrowing it (much to my kids' dismay since they listen to it almost non-stop). The English speakers love the lyrics and the non-English speakers love the music! It is a favorite in our house...we love it all!

Come Ride Along with Me is a wonderful collection of music for children. I purchased it a month ago, and our four-year old son asks to hear it constantly. He sits on our kitchen counter and sings along at the top of his lungs. It is a sight to see. I believe that James Coffee is one of the most talented artists of children's music I have heard in a long time. Our son keeps asking if he can meet him, and we're waiting for another CD to come out. We highly recommend this music as part of your child's collection!
