Buy this single. You get four versions of Come What May. One from the film Moulin Rouge (of course) the ballad from the CD and two remix versions. If you liked the movie and the wonderful singing talents of the star performers (especially Ewan McGregor!) you will love this single.

Ok here's the deal. If you liked Moulin Rouge and you have the DVD, the soundtracks, or just love the song Come What May this is the CD for you! The Cd has 5 tracks in all. The first two are the Josh Abrhams Remix and Remix Edit. We in the US would probably know it as the video version. The Remix is very uptempo and I LOVE IT! It brings new life to the song. The other 2 version of Come What May are the ones available on the Cd's Moulin Rouge and Moulin Rouge 2. They're very good as well. The last song on this Cd is the Elephant Love Medley Kareoke. THat is also interesting! Definatly get this CD! It is way worth the wait till it gets to you!

COME WHAT MAY - what can I say??? Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor have great voices. The Josh G. Abrams Radio Edit and David Foster Album Versions are great new versions of it. LADY MARMALADE is a great song, great that they added a Thunderpuss Mix of it on this single, as it is fabulous, definetly without a doubt better than the original version. And Elephant Love Medley, the instrumental is not the best, but if you want to hear the real song with vocals, check out the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack. The Video is great too! Buy this now, or else you're missing out on a big item.

Come What May has been one of the chart toppers that almost instantly relates itself voluntarily to Moulin Rouge and its amateurish performers that created it - Ewan McGregor (Star Wars) and Nicole Kidman (Ex Mrs Cruise).
Penned by legendary David Foster who also wrote for renowned songsters, including Céline Dion, Mariah Carey and Chicago (It's Hard To Say I'm Sorry), the song is surround with surrealism and is clearly evident of Foster's visit. Sung by actor and actress of Moulin Rouge!, the song is just a breeze of fresh air, with new voices.
The remixes are however not up to my expectation and the tempo is exactly the same with distracting techno beats in the background that almost annihilate the magic of the song. However, one may find the Film version compellingly emotional and much more intense, albeit shorter (3 min+).
The elephant medley (instrumental) is congruent to the one you find in the soundtrack, only without voices. You may like to sing along with it. :o)
Cover art designed well, showing Ewan and Nicole caressing. A good buy if you do not want the soundtrack but only Come What may. Not a good buy if you wanna listen to remixes.

This is just a great song. If your a sap for fairytale romance and true love, this sums it up. Very well performed by Kidman and Mcgregor.

Okay, I'm not sure but I may be one of the select few people on this earth who owns nearly every CD involving Moulin Rouge.
In a moment of obsession and spontaneity (okay it was more like a month of it), I collected as much music from the movie as I could and was happy to come along this little gem.
The song 'Come What May' is touching to me (sap, sap, mush, mush). I really like it. If you have the first soundtrack, you've got one version already. The Josh G Abrams Mix is pretty awesome, it's the one they play in the music video (on the DVD). Next to the original film version (which is found on the second soundtrack), it's my favorite.
As for the other two tracks, the Lady Marmalade mix is rather thumpy and annoying. I don't think I've listened to it all the way through. But, if you're into that thumpy, bumpy house music techno, you'll dig it. The Elephant Medley is okay. I haven't actually attempted a Karoake night with it, but when it comes on it's a little game to see if I can remember the words.
All in all, a good CD. Have fun.

The four versions of this beautiful, and in my opinion, best song of the year are wonderful. At first I didn't like the radio mix with it's upbeat tempo. If the ballad version had been aired instread of the radio mix, I feel certain it would have made number one on the charts. I especially love the film version. The instrumental Elephant Medley is good too! A great buy!
