Probably the bands best yet., January 29, 2002

Watch out for this band because they are on a move. Sad to hear about their less than ideal current record deal, but I'm sure a few more record sales would help them get out of the contract (hint.) This is the bands most provoking release yet. Their influences (one of which being The Smiths) are becoming weaker in the wake of their own emerging style.
Mellow pop finds beautifications in instrumentation and electronification. The bands sound is truly unique and innovative. The vocals bring a unique life to the music in slightly nasal, basic harmony. Their music makes me think French people who wish they were from British and then moved to the US. This is a must listen for lovers of mellow pop and those venturing into more electronic forms of music. My lack of ability to think of comparisons leads me to believe this band is doing something truly exciting and unique.
