In the introduction to this wholesome compilation, Adam Christling writes, "the family room is funnier than the bathroom." With evidence as strong as this tastefully hilarious testimony, he makes an uproarious case that should convince even the most jaded jury.

For those who value vulgarity, look elsewhere, but if its good genuine laughs you're after, get this book.

I was scouring the 'net one day to find some clean jokes to tell for one of my speeches, and I found many "joke sites," but they all had filthy humor mixed in. I could not find any site with quality, clean jokes! Finally I came across Adam Christing's book, Comedy Comes Clean, and I found more than enough good jokes to tell to the class. I found his book VERY useful.

This book makes me laugh. It is a great pass along book or gift. I also use it when preparing to talk to a group.

Real wit is seldom gutteral. In this compilation of good, clean stuff, Adam Christing proves that beyond any doubt.

As I kid I listened to Bill Cosby and other clean guys, and they were always the best. And like Cosby has said, if you rely mostly on shock tactics, what happens when you audience is beyond shock?

I think this book will improve everyone's sex life who reads it. And if you've taken a vow of chastity, You'll be that much more chaste.

I am generally pretty skeptical of clean humor. Sometimes it seems in our society that comedy is either very unclean or incredibly stupid clean humor which are just one "groaner" after another. This is definitely not the case with this book. I enjoyed the wide range of subjects that were discussed as well as the variety of contributors who ranged from Jerry Seinfeld to Henry Kissinger. This book is enjoyable for all ages and is just a fun read for anyone who wants to laugh. Best of all, this clean humor book contains remarkably few "groaners."

This book is not hilarious unless you are about six years old with a very bad sense of humor. They are clean, but I have read jokes that are clean and funny. If you truly want funny material, I would not recommend this book. Save your money and do not purchase this book.

A very enjoyable book written by one of the funniest comedians I know. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for clean comedy at its best!

Jokes generally require context and a good telling. I imagine some of these might have been funny told by the right person in the right way at the right moment, to a fully American audience. On paper I hardly broke a smile. Many of the jokes reflect particularly American obsessions, like with religion, which of course means Christianity (two chapter titles: "Holy Bible Humor" and "Crackin' Up the Congregation"), therapists, overweight, television and sports, and they don't transplant well outside the US. The jokes are not bad, just overall not that brilliant or insightful, or universal in appeal. I got this book hoping to learn more about what makes a good joke, but failed to find much enlightenment here. On the other hand, if you live in the US and want to pass off someone else's one-liners as your own, you may well draw a few chuckles. A few jokes were good for phonetics class, e.g.: When an old man told his friend he had purchased a new hearing aid, his friend asked, "What kind is it?" The old man answered, "About four-thirty." And: As ye smoke, so shall ye reek.

When looking for funny yet CLEAN jokes this is the book for you!

This book is such a great book for everyone. My family has a very wide range of opinions when it comes to humor, but when I read this book, I thought my family would love it! I showed my mom it and she bought one the very day for herself and my little sister. It is a book with great jokes that all ages and all types of people can enjoy!
