About the Author

Inca Garcilaso (1539-1616). Perú. Escritor e historiador peruano. Hijo del conquistador español Sebastián Garcilaso de la Vega y de la princesa inca Isabel Chimpo Ocllo. Combatió junto a las tropas de Francisco Pizarro hasta que se pasó al bando del virrey La Gasca. Tuvo una excelente formación y se fue a España a los veintiún años. Era capitán del ejército español cuando participó en la represión de los moriscos de Granada, y más tarde estuvo en servicio en Italia, donde conoció al filósofo neoplatónico León Hebreo. En 1590, dejó las armas y entró en religión. Frecuentó los círculos humanísticos de Sevilla, Montilla y Córdoba y estudió historia y leyó a los poetas clásicos y renacentistas.

It's going back. Linkgua drestruye la belleza del español con sus versiones "actualizadas" de obras clasicas. Terrible. no pude pasar de la primera pagina. El libro ya está de regreso a Amazon, y en su reemplazo he ordendo un versión seria, con leguaje académico de Crítica.
