It arrived quickly and the shredder didn't disappoint. It not only handled the 6 sheets, but was amazingly quiet. I also like the look and feel of the modern design to match my other kitchen stainless steel appliances. The actual model looks bigger than the picture. For the price, it's a kickass deal. I may buy same brand when I need to replace my bigger shredder.
1) Whisper quiet. You hear a bit of a buzzing noise that is created by paper being shredded, crushed, if you will.
2) Oil comes with the shredder. A median size bottle of oil for lubrication of small little blades that cut paper.
3) It can shred CDs, DVDs, and Credit cards. It has separate slots for CDs, and credit cards.
4)Perfect size for shredding junk mail. I had so much of junk mail with personal information on it, as well as old bills that I got rid of.
5) The shredder came packed in two boxes. Since the shredder is mostly made out of plastic, it was supported/cushioned by Styrofoam on both sides. The manual came inside as well.
I would recommend it for shredding junk mail and/or old bills with personal information. it is not heavy duty shredder so don't think you can use it all day to shred office papers.
This paper shredder is SO QUIET! I have only shredded a couple of papers (will be looking for a lot more to shred this evening) and it did a beautiful job. Great product and the cost was surprising. Cannot say anything about how it will be working in the future, but as of right now, it is a great product and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a paper shredder, and also the company where it was purchased, Simply Globo, Inc.on Amazon.com.
