A Well Designed Shredder March 27, 2012

It's a very nice personal light duty shredder that can handle 8 sheets of paper without choking. I don't shred CDs but knowing that it can means the motor is strong enough to cut paper and plastic. Most of the 8 sheet cross shredders that doesn't say it shreds CDs means it has a weak motor and can easily over heat. Also the fact that it has a quiet motor means it's using a more expensive component than the louder motors. The cost is a little more but it is worth the price. Knowing some of these facts I went a bought this one. At 3.2 gallons it can hold about a week of junk credit card mail before I need to empty it. The shred size is also small enough that I don't have to worry about security. It is what the seller described and I never had overheating. In sum, this is a solid and well designed shredder for your personal needs.
