About the Author

Laura Knight-Jadczyk is a historian and author of 14 books that span many disciplines including history, psychology, spirituality and politics. Underpinning all of Laura's work is a powerful drive to discover the Truth, whatever that Truth might be. In her unique approach to research, everything is challenged and no official 'truth', no official version of events, is too sacrosanct to be exempted from rigorous testing. As she pursues her goal to uncover the solutions to the problems of Humankind, it is her love and respect for the Truth that makes her a truly peerless researcher and author.

More About the Author

I am a seventh generation Floridian and my roots in the U.S. go back to before the Revolution. Because of my lifelong interests in science and spirit, I began what has come to be known as "The Cassiopaean Experiment" in 1994; an experiment in superluminal communication. Thus far, I've written 13 books which combine science and mysticism and my husband (physicist/mathematician, Arkadiusz Jadczyk) and I established an active online forum and several websites as a result of this experiment. Together, with other researchers, many of them mainstream scientists, we created the Eiriu Eolas stress-reduction and rejuvenation program. I presently live in France with my husband, four of our six children, extended family and on-site researchers, eight dogs and a cat. When people ask me to describe myself, the first thing that comes to mind is: "I'm just an ordinary Florida girl dreaming of a better world."

George Santayana once said, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

In all of my years in high school and university/college, I was never told anything about comets or cosmic catastrophes as ever being evident in our world's history. It was simply not acknowledged nor accepted. Our perception of "history" has been seriously limited and controlled by those who have insidious agendas. History, indeed, was written by those "in power." I grew up, knowing full well that history have a habit of repeating itself and how we should always learn from history. But, the important question was, "what tragic event that occurred in our past that will happen again on a global scale so many times over?"

Hidden within known myths, history, astronomy/astrology, and the ancient Greek literature, Laura Knight-Jadczyk has discovered the presence of so many comets in such a far distant past, which has caused a great number of catastrophic events on our planet. This latest analysis will open our minds to the past in a hope to seriously comprehend the cyclical nature of cosmic catastrophes throughout the history of our planet, and we sure are due for another event.

"Comets and the Horns of Moses" is the second volume of "The Secret History of the World" series, with the first volume being presented almost 10 years ago (one does not necessary have to read the first volume in order to read the second, which can stand on its own...or so I think). This volume focuses firstly on the analysis of Moses before heading onto the studies of cometary events with a grave look at several myths and historical/archaeological records and how these events were deliberately twisted and erased from human awareness.

I have only read Chapter 1 in the free preview & I am now seriously considering having to buy a Kindle so that I can finish the book. I don't know if I can wait for the hard copy! Like all of Laura's work it is meticulously researched, highly objective, and well written. Her books are not only a history lesson of what really happened in our ancient past, but I felt like Watson as we traveled back through the mists of time discovering the truth about the great mysteries of all time with the venerable Sherlock Holmes. It is only due to a lack of funds, at the moment, that is preventing me from running down to (Favorite New Gadget Store) & picking up a Kindle! This book is the sequel to "Secret History Of The World and How To Get Out Alive", which I couldn't put down either & have been waiting a very long time for this book to come out. Even years later, I go back & begin reading at any old random spot & can't put it down. Laura says in a footnote that "Comets and the Horns of Moses" had cost about 20,000 Euros just in research material. So, that should tell you how dedicated this author is to searching for the truth in our history & bringing that evidence to light.

For someone who reads history and often times feels lost in an array of dates and facts, this book was surprisingly easy to read. That doesn't mean the author skimped on the details at all though, since her bibliography was extensive and every page footnoted for easy access to the evidence. Her style is well refined, down to earth and witty. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

With that said, wow does she turn official history on its head. And isn't that what we read for? Her case is the most satisfactory explanation of ancient Western history I've come across yet. She uses modern day understanding of comets to astound the reader with insights into how ancient myths are really telling us some scary stuff, stuff that could still impact us today. With this in mind she examines ancient philosophy and Greek society while sorting out the real tyrants from the truth seekers(the results will probably surprise you). And this is only the beginning. But she makes it fun! Things really clicked for me and that's what I loved about this book. The material is dense and yet, since it's so important in understanding our world, she made it accessible to everyone. A true gift for any truth seeker!

History just got a whole lot more interesting! That's how I'd describe, in only one sentence this eye-opening, dot-connecting and awe-inspiring book, densely packed with fascinating information and new groundbreaking facts from various different fields of science, collected and connected by LKJ, in her relentless pursuit of finding the answers to many important and mystifying questions from our history!

There is so much to learn from history, and as they say "those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it". You'll learn that there is a reality deeper then you can probably imagine to this saying when you learn about nature of the cycles, which the ancients were aware of. You'll also find out that their knowledge survived to this day in the form of myths, or more precisely in forms of 'mythicised history' and 'historicised myths', many of which are so wonderfully deciphered and explained by LKJ and their meaning brought into a new objective and in the same time terrifying light.

I too, couldn't put this book down either and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see history with new eyes and get valuable knowledge in the process, because that same knowledge is highly relevant in a 'world of the uncertain future' that we are living in today. You might also be surprised or even shocked to find out that the times we're living in might be the very times in which the original mythmakers lived in!
