Was listening to the local Jazz station here in the burbs of Chicago, when they played "Itsbynne Reel". This was the most fun I've had listening to an extended jazz piece in some time! I've always loved Michael Brecker (R.I.P.), and this raucous big band tribute to his music is fresh, exciting, and completely hip.
If you know anything about Frank Macchia's "Frankie Maximum Goes Way-Er Out West", you can hear the pure fun these guys are having! Definitely pick this up!
